Assist. Prof. Dr. Arzu Gonenc Sorguc, from the Middle East Technical University (METU) Department of Architecture, which is the university partner of the core group, has proposed a research project to be funded by the university. The project proposal that is entitled “The Comparison of Turkish Construction Sector with Other EU Countries and the Development of a Model for Sectorial Integration and EU Framework Programme Participation in Turkey, in the Context of the EU Harmonization Process” is mainly prepared for the purpose of the Turkish Construction Technology Platform initiative. The project aims to make research on construction technology platform models and productions in other European countries; to focus on FP7 opportunities and to make proposals for the Turkish case.
